Please keep these words in mind when you go through a rough spot, or trial: "God will only test those who He deems strong enough to endure it."
God will give us trials if He knows that we are able to conquer it. The harder the test is, the stronger your faith is.
Remember, if life is going easy, you should probably look at your spiritual walk with God.

That first quote is so very true, but I sometimes think that God thinks I'm stronger than I really am! ;) I think perhaps it should be changed, though (the quote), because honestly I think we tend to go through trials that we DON'T have enough strength for... but God gives us that strength through that trial. So, technically it should say something about God will give us trials that He can strengthen us through... :) Just my thoughts. However, it is such a comfort to know that He is there by us every moment of that trial if we ask Him to be. We can also push Him away during those times. It's our choice.

Very true - God never promises that our lives will be easy as Christians. Like you said, if our lives are easy, something's probably wrong.... It's also comforting to know that God will never send us a trial that is more than we can bear. Thanks for the post!
ReplyDeleteNice post, Jeremiah! It's actually quite encouraging! I've had quite a few trials of late, intermingled with wonderful blessings. My only hope is that God is using them to teach me His perfect will.
